DIY: Mounting and Finishing Your Photographs

On Thanksgiving day I could not let it pass away without writing anything down.

First thank you all for the support that keeps me going, also helped me being a better photographer and pushing myself a little bit further.

THANK YOU ALL!!!!

Now the giving part, since this is also a DIY (Do It Yourself) blog, I decided to give you guys another one.

Unfortunately this is not one of my posts but it still counts as a DIY.

Fellow photographer Chris Shepher has done quite a good job on assembling a very good DIY on Mounting and Finishing your photographs in frames.

It's a 7 parts article describing how he makes his frames for exhibitions.

You can read all out at the following links.

Enjoy and hope this could help you out on the framing issues you may have.

Part 1 - Introduction
Part 2 - Preparation
Part 3 - Mount Cutting
Part 4 - Final Assembly
Part 5 - Framing
Part 6 - Equipment
Part 7 - Conclusion

Thank you Chris for helping us out with this.
